Salt Creek Oil & Gas is a company based in Denver, Colorado. It was founded in June 2015 by Deutsche Rohstoff together with an experienced management team. The focus of Salt Creek’s activities is the Williston Basin in North Dakota. It is one of the largest oil and gas fields in the US. In February 2020, the companies operating there produced around 1.5 million barrels of oil per day.

Salt Creek Oil & Gas acquired large areas of land in North Dakota at the end of 2016. 60 wells have already been drilled on these areas, and 90 more were planned. In mid-2018, the company sold most of the land again at a profit.

The company continues to operate with minority interests in the Williston Basin. Salt Creek is continually acquiring new licensed areas and thereby increasing its production.
